Well my name’s Lewis, I’m from a small town in the north of England close to Leeds, erm I went to university in Liverpool, a great city, it’s the home of the Beatles where I studied Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
My Spanish is better than the other two languages but it’s still not perfect. And well I lived in Seville for two years then I moved to Australia and now I’m back, looking forward to getting started with Teachify.

So Lewis used an interesting phrasal verb ‘look forward to’ which is Spanish translates to ‘tener ganas de’ a difficult phrasal verb to translate, as it has more than one way to say and use it.
Important! When we use the phrasal verb look forward to, it is always followed by ‘verb + ING’ or a ‘noun’.
Lewis «I am looking forward to gettING started at Teachify». So you should be Lewis!
Here are some more examples of when you could use the same phrasal verb.
  • I’m really looking forward to going on holiday next week.
  • They are looking forward to learning English.

  • I am looking forward to the football this weekend. NOUN
  • They are looking forward to Christmas.  NOUN
