Over the last couple of months we have strived to upload interesting vocabulary explanations, grammar tutorials and some personal introductions in order to provide you with engaging content to complement your English language learning.

All of our posts include a blog post and an accompanying YouTube video.  That way you not only practice your reading, but also your listening and pronunciation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=»1/2″][/vc_column][vc_column width=»1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=»Cursos de inglés Sevilla

In the video we discuss some cultural differences between Spain and England, given that our monthly topic for November is Culture.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=»1/2″][/vc_column][vc_column width=»1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=»Perfect your listening! » font_container=»tag:h1|font_size:30|text_align:center» google_fonts=»font_family:Marvel%3Aregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal» css=».vc_custom_1543527696560{padding-bottom: 10px !important;}»][vc_column_text]In order to make the most of the content, we recommend you watch the video as many times as you can, and try to repeat some things we say out loud to practice pronunciation.

However, there are some words and phrases that you might not understand.

As a result, we have provided brief explanations and synonyms below.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=»Clases de inglés negocios Sevilla » font_container=»tag:h1|font_size:30|text_align:center» google_fonts=»font_family:Marvel%3Aregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal» css=».vc_custom_1542122013998{padding-bottom: 10px !important;}»][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=»1/2″][/vc_column][vc_column width=»1/2″][vc_column_text]

Let’s get into it…in the video you’ll hear loads of examples of these fixed expressions.

Screaming and shouting all the time – speaking very loudly

Do they see that as being rude? – Do they consider it to be impolite?

They get along really well – they have a really good relationship

She can’t get by – she can’t manage or survive using only Spanish in this case

It might not always go down so well – people may not be very happy at the result of something

Can you get away with doing it? – Can you escape punishment or problems doing it?

They ended up kissing each other on the lips – In the end, they kissed on the lips

They get straight to the point – they focus on the main point of the task immediately

We have a lot of small talk – we have light conversations of little importance

We beat around the bush – we don’t get straight to the point

Breakfast is sacred here – it is of the highest importance

It hasn’t grown on me yet – someone hasn’t started to like something

You don’t get paid overtime – the extra hours that you work and aren’t in your schedule are not remunerated

Are we just being biased? – do we have an imbalanced opinion towards England in this case

Sharing is caring – a common phrase used when you share anything or to persuade someone to share something with you[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=»1/2″][/vc_column][vc_column width=»1/2″][vc_column_text]
